Honest Civic Bulletin

Editorial policy

Honest Civic Bulletin aims to make civic subjects understandable without flattening their complexity. We distinguish established information from interpretation, explain the limits of an explanation, and welcome careful corrections.

Accuracy and clarity

We check factual statements against appropriate material available to us, use precise wording, and explain terms that may not be familiar to a general reader. Where a topic is contested or context-dependent, we say so. Our articles are educational and do not replace current official information about a particular process.

Independence

Editorial choices are made for their relevance to readers and the publication's subject. A partnership does not determine our editorial conclusions, and we do not present promotional claims as independent editorial findings.

Corrections

If you spot a factual error or important omission, contact us with the article subject, the passage in question and any supporting context. We review correction requests and make appropriate changes with clear wording where a material correction is needed.

Partner material and illustrations

Paid or partner content and placements are identified clearly so readers can distinguish them from editorial material. Some illustrations may be AI-generated; when relevant, they are identified as such and are not offered as documentary evidence.
